Donald Fauntleroy Duck, better known as just Donald Duck
made his screen debut in the Silly Symphony cartoon "The
Wise Little Hen" on June 9, 1934. It's said that
Donald's middle name comes from the sailor hat he wears;
which was a common accessory for Fauntleroy suits.
Donald normally has a good heart, and good intentions;
though his temper definitely gets the best of him.
But with his fiery temper and unforgettable voice,
audiences love this one-of-a-kind duck!
Unfortunately, more oft than naught, things go
uncontrollably wrong for this little duck.
But...as stubborn as he is unpredictable, Donald never
gives up. And...to help calm him down, Donald has
his lovely girlfriend Daisy Duck, and his two best buds
- Mickey Mouse and Goofy.
